There have been similar websites / concepts but these were based on earlier technologies, typically the mobile phone using MMS, they could never provide the comprehensive service now offered by the newer technology Internet news sites.
Mobile Phone Technology
Whilst mobile phones were successful for sending news and pictures, for example the Tsunami in Thailand, the mobile phone network often cannot cope with the volume of traffic during such an event. Networks were overwhelmed with people trying to phone friends or relatives to see if they were safe.
Within a very time of the London Bombings, mobile phone networks were unable to cope and the situation was made worse by people continually pressing re-dial.
Phone networks expect a certain volume of traffic based on the number of people who have subscribed to that network; the internet works on a different principle and so does not cease to function efficiently during a time of increased communication.

If they tune in to the same 24 hour news channel 30 minutes later, they may notice that some of the news is on a sort of loop, and they have to watch the same story again, even though they were disinterested in it the first time around.

When large numbers of consumers bought and used mobile phones either in addition to their fixed lines or as an alternative to having a fixed phone line, it affected the way we communicate. You might think that you need to have some kind of special job or need in order to get signed up for the new type of mobile Internet that everyone is talking about, but that is not the case. In fact, anyone can sign up for a WiMax connection and you don’t need to have important Internet business. There is something that anyone in your family can get out of this type of connection.
For Mom and Dad this type of technology can be very useful for work. If you have a lot on your plate, like most parents do, then you probably have to do a lot things on the go. With a WiMax connection you can always bring your work and the Internet with you when you have to leave the house or the office. You can really make the best use of your time. When you have a few down moments waiting in the car to pick the kids up from school you can start to use that time to accomplish the things that you need to do or to check in with the office. This can also come in handy when it comes to keeping the house in order. You can update your online calendar and pay important bills online while little Jimmy has soccer practice. There is no reason why time has to be wasted just sitting around when you could be doing productive things online. But a WiMax connection doesn’t just have to be used for business. You can also take advantage of these down moments to do some online shopping, read new stories online, instant message with a friend, or whatever other things you like to do on the Internet but might not have the time to do at home.
For the kids there are also a wide variety of different uses of a WiMax connection. Kids mostly use the Internet for fun things like chatting with their friends, social networking web sites, and playing games online. All these things are possible with a WiMax connection, so this can be a great way to keep the kids happy and occupied while you are out running errands together. There are also other ways that kids are using the Internet. There are a lot of educational websites on the Internet now and there are a lot that kids even like to visit. The Internet is even being used in the classroom more and more. So the kids time using the 4G network doesn’t just have to be chatting with their BFFs on Facebook, they can get online and learn and have fun in the process. Older kids can also use the connection to do online research for school papers and projects.
There are many options for the whole family when it comes to using a 4G mobile Internet connection. If you have an idea of a way to use it, chances are it can be done.

Analog and conventional is what we have been familiar with over the decades before the advent of the Internet. Long before cellphones were invented, these are what we have been using. And yes, we still do use them today. It is through these phones that we connect with business associates in the same city that we are in or even across the state. But from state to state, we now call long distances and this would naturally reflect on the billing. The billing increases if you incur calls from country to country even if they are as near as Canada or Mexico.
Many experts say that among the best ways to keep a business running at manageable levels is by obtaining a small phone service arrangement. Remember that there are a lot of telephone service providers today because of the rapid development in communication services. Is it really possible to run a free reverse cell phone lookup on the internet? Many of us have become disillusioned and frustrated in the past with websites which appear to offer free products or services online but in fact do not. Is this the case with cell phone lookups?
Firstly let us examine exactly what we mean by a phone number lookup. If you have in your possession a residential phone number but no idea who the number belongs to or what address it relates to you can use a “reverse lookup” service to find out those details. This can obviously be very useful in situations where you have lost contact with someone but still have a record of their phone number, or simply wish to verify who owns the number before mistakenly phoning the wrong number. There are many places you can perform such residential and business phone lookups online for free, including toll-free numbers.
However a problem arises when you need to run a reverse lookup on a cellular phone as the free directories do not contain any such numbers. Similarly they do not contain fax numbers as this information is only held by the carriers and telecommunications companies. Do these records exist, and are they free?
The good news is there are websites which claim to offer large numbers of cell phone numbers, but they are not free. These websites naturally have to pay for access to some of this information, and go to the considerable trouble of pulling all the various resources together in one place, and as a result you will be charged a small fee before you can access the lookup databases. However the fee is a one-off payment and with some websites you can run as many searches as you like once you have access, with others they offer a single lookup for a lower fee. The records they claim to offer include cell owner details, address history, carrier details, and the phone connection status. It is also worth noting that the databases offered by each company differ to some degree, but most include cell phones and often residential, business, toll-free, even pagers, and these websites say your searches are guaranteed legal and confidential.
In addition to reverse lookups there are also similar websites which offer access to information such as background checks and background reports, people finder databases, bankruptcies, liens, public records databases including births, deaths, marriages, divorces and adoptions, sex offender records, police records, and much more. These sites operate in the same way, offering access to specific types of information for a set fee, however it should be noted that you will not receive access to such information as part of your cell phone lookup site membership.
I have seen websites claiming to offer free cell lookups, but they always lead eventually to the paid sites in the end, even allowing people to search for free and then charging to view the results. It is the sad truth that the only place where you are likely to find detailed reverse cell records is within the legitimate paid directories. In conclusion, the answer is no, free cell phone lookups do not currently exist. However if you really want to access such records then I believe paying a small fee is a price worth paying.
