Article Marketing – Gain Notice for Your Business

For any business, online or offline, Internet marketing is a large part of building success for the future. Article marketing is one of the most powerful advertising tools to hit the Internet and many businesses are capitalizing on this lead generating option that are available. You can have articles written using specific keywords that will direct potential customers to your site. With well-written content, this can be a powerful way of boosting your online presence and enhancing your target marketing strategy.

Use Article Marketing to Appear in Search Engines

When you are creating articles to promote your business, there are a few important things to remember.

· Length- One thing to remember when writing articles is that length is an important aspect of finding success in this marketing tool. You will want articles to be long enough to create a lasting impression without being so long that the reader will lose interest and miss the intended message. Ideally, an article should be between 300 and 500 words for optimum success and many search engines will miss the articles if they are over or under this number. This length will allow your articles to appear in search engines and keep the reader’s focus.

· Keywords- Choose a keyword or keyword phrase pertaining to your business that will be used throughout the article. When you use the keyword or phrase in a specified percentage of the content of the article, you will increase your search engine rankings and bring in new traffic to your site. Be careful not to overuse the keyword, as this may prevent the article from appearing in search engines. Proper keyword usage is an important part of article marketing. Typically, search engines will ignore any articles that have over 4% keyword optimization.

· Article Structure- A well-written article should represent the following structure: Introduction, content, conclusion, and a short author bio or resource box, which will feature information about your site or business. Many business owners choose to skip the resource box, but it can be crucial for customers to identify with the company they are planning on using.

When trying to improve business and attract traffic to your web site, article marketing can be a powerful option. Along with other Internet marketing tools, like social media, blogging, SEO, pay-per-click marketing, and banner ads, you will be able to gain attention for your business and find the success that you’re after.

How Many Websites Are Needed To Begin Growing An MLM Business?

To those a bit new to the Internet world may consider this quite a daunting issue. The MLM and Network Marketing industry is already rather vast, but the Internet Marketing side of things can be just as overwhelming to some people at the very beginning.

One of the many obvious things that are needed is a website. But a lot tend to ask themselves, how many websites are needed to get the ball rolling?

This is a tough question.

The easy answer is: One.

You need a website to get started, a place where prospects as well as current associates can gather to get to know you, to learn more about business and marketing, product news etc.

You need at least something that your prospects to see you and find out more about you and what you have to offer or at least get more information.

Then….before you know it you have three or five or more websites. They just kind of multiply as your business grows. That being said, don’t sit and worry about this or plan it out or “get ready” for it. The best thing you can do is to get your first website up and running then get to work on the rest of your business, which consists primarily of generating traffic to your website and contacting your prospects.

You will find out after a while that a simple “splash page” to promote your e-book works well while you reserve your blog for more communication purposes rather than recruiting.

After your business grows, you may wish to have a membership-type site that is reserved for the actual members of your organization. This is where you would post training videos, product videos and promotion, private session announcements and other communications.

Then you may wish to have a product promotion website on which people can have your personal perspective about your company’s products.

There are definitely other uses for websites that many find necessary but these are the ones you will see most often in our industry.

As said previously, they just kind of just grow out of nowhere. The more you stimulate your creative mind, you will find more and more ways to add value to your leads and prospects and continue to entertain your audience. Sometimes, there are just too much information to be contained within just one website.

However, if you are just starting out – again, the main thing is you have at least one website that your audience can view to get more information.

Drive Traffic to Your Small Business Website Using Google Places

Many local businesses have a hard time when it comes to Internet Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. These companies often have a website, but don’t rank well in the search results because their site becomes lost within the search engine “Sandbox”, with little hope of finding its way out. Small businesses that are looking to drive more traffic to their website, have a tremendous opportunity to advance their listings and get first page results utilizing the Google Maps Platform. Google Maps (also known as Google Places), provide small business owners the ability to get their company noticed online, through Geo-targeted Search.

By optimizing your local business listing, Google Places will bring your company first page exposure by displaying local results to search users based on location. If your site is already receiving sufficient listings on the search engine results pages, the local business listing will create increased exposure for your company. Your Google Places Listing can provide driving directions, business information, operating hours and many other unique features for your potential customers.

Once your listing is submitted and properly optimized, Google Places will generate a map including your business listing. These listings often appear toward the top of the search results page, before any other organic listing.
Small businesses can build their company listing in Google Maps by searching for Google Places (formally Local Business Center) navigating to the site and creating a free account.

Once you’ve signed up for Google Places, fill out all of your business information, add a keyword rich description, hours of operation, upload images/videos and provide payment methods. Make sure to fill out all of the available categories in order to better maximize your listings potential. The more accurate your information is, the more success you will see from your listing. Make sure to fill out all the information you can.

Your Google Places listing should have the same business name, address and telephone number as the information that appears on your company website. Try to avoid using 800 numbers, as they negatively impact the listing. 800 numbers may be added as an additional phone number, but try to provide a regular number as your primary point of contact.

Google only allows its Places users to develop a single listing for their business. If your company has multiple locations, you’ll be able to add this information using the “list of area’s served” section of the Google Places profile. Again, accuracy in this section will provide better results for your listing as it’s served on the Google Maps Platform.
When filling out your profile, ensure that you improve your local business listing by adding as many rich media options as possible. These include images and video. You should also develop coupons and add weekly specials to the profile as well. The more information you provide Google, the better they can list you, thus driving more traffic and more qualified visitors to your site.

Filling out your Google Places business profile is just the start of your local campaign. If your industry is not very competitive, you may be lucky enough to rank high in the search results for local business listings, just from filling out your profile information alone. But more competitive industries will require additional effort and optimization.

Encourage your customers and clients to write testimonial style reviews for your business in the “review section” of your listing. Google will also populate your listing profile with reviews from review sites such as Yelp and Kudzu as well. These reviews provide useful information for your customers and enhance your listing in the search engine results pages. Local and trade directories will promote your listing within Google Maps, so filling out your business information and submitting to directory sites will be beneficial to your Google Places Campaign.

Utilizing these aforementioned tactics, integrated with a local SEO and Internet Marketing campaign is one of the best methods to increase traffic to your site and advance your small business’ success.

Online Business Websites

Discover the three elements that create success for online business websites.

Creating successful online business websites can definitely be a challenge. You want to build something that is appealing and engaging for your visitors, but also functions as an effective sales tool for your business. The following three online business website ideas will put you firmly on the path to great conversion rates — and Internet marketing success!

Keep it simple! While it might be tempting to build a website that has tons of cool effects and features, we’d suggest that you keep it simple! We’ve found time and time again that it’s not necessarily the online business websites with the most bells and whistles that bring in the big bucks. In fact, a flashy design can often end up being more of a distraction from the main message of the site than a selling point!

An attractive header for your website and great colors are always nice, but your sales message and unique selling proposition should always be the focus.

Focus on salescopy! The first step in engaging your visitors is creating an benefit-rich headline that encourages your visitor to stay at your website and read more of what you have to say. And after your headline, include a sub-headline that compels your visitor to dig deeper into your sales message.

Follow up by addressing the problem and relating to your potential customers, focusing on the benefits — not the features — of your product. Be sure to include lots of testimonials from previous customers to build your credibility — and don’t forget to ask for the sale!

Get your visitors’ information as soon as they arrive! Every sales website should include an opt-in offer in the top fold of the site, preferably the left-hand side of the page. This area is often called the “prime real estate” of a web site, since it’s the first place most people look when they arrive at the site.

Your opt-in box should offer your visitors some free, valuable information that relates to your product and the subject matter of your website — in exchange for their first name, last name, and email address.

Getting your visitors’ information guarantees that you’ll never lose touch with them, even if they leave your site without buying a single thing! Studies show that some people need up to seven points of contact online before they’ll consider taking action on a product. With an opt-in list, you can create email marketing campaigns that will reach out to even the most skeptical potential customers and build up trust and credibility for your product — and your business!

These online business website ideas are the basic elements needed to create a successful e-commerce website — but there’s a LOT more you can do to communicate your sales message effectively!

How To Write High Quality Articles For Promoting Your Business?

Article marketing is one of the most powerful and widely used Internet marketing techniques. You can enjoy constant traffic through article marketing and this is one of the cheapest marketing techniques out there. If you are writing articles by yourself, you can market your business for absolutely free of cost! Most business owners like the idea of writing articles on their own but they are not very confident about the quality of their final product. Writing high quality articles is really simple by following these steps:

· Organizing - Organizing is very important in producing high quality articles. Prepare a list of products and services you want to promote. It’s not possible for you to promote your business with a single article but you need many of them. Create a list of titles to write articles on and make plans with the help of a calendar.

· Brainstorming – Brainstorming is extremely important. Brainstorming not only helps you to produce high quality articles but it will also help you to save significant amount of time while writing. Many of us start thinking about what to write once we sit in front of the computer but this is the worst way to produce a good article. You need to have clear focus before starting your work. Take a notepad or use the sticky notes feature on your computer to write down the important aspects. This will ensure that you’re not missing out any important point and at the same time, you can speed up the writing process.

· Writing First Draft – If you follow the first two steps, writing the first draft should be a very easy task. Most people directly proceed with writing the first draft but get stuck in this stage because their brain is filled with cluttered thoughts. Since you already cleared the cluttered thoughts and noted down important points to cover in your article, you can finish your first draft in 10 minutes!

· Editing - Now, you need to read your article thoroughly and make necessary changes. You probably have to rewrite a few sentences to make the article look better. However, a ‘better’ article doesn’t necessarily contain profound words but if you can convince your idea in an interesting manner, you wrote a great article!

· Title - A lot of people start writing an article after putting the title first. You can also give a title to your article once you finish writing the same. This way, you can make sure that the title is highly related to the article body.

Writing a high quality article is very easy but a lot of business owners fail to create interesting articles because they do not pay proper attention to generating ideas first. If you really want to write an article fast, the best possible way is to get a rough idea on what to be discussed on the article body. It doesn’t matter if you take a lot of time on brainstorming because you can write your article just within a few minutes. People who directly start writing an article waste a lot of time in the middle because they do not have clear ideas. This will result in a low quality article.

Pre-Built Web Sites For a Hassle Free Business

A really good website needs to have several things. The most important things are visual appeal, relevant content, relevant graphics, and credibility. Have you ever tried to build a website for your internet marketing business? It takes such a long time and even if you’re good at it, you still have to take the time to fill it with content that is relevant and that sells. A pre-built website will have the 4 main attributes of a good website already done for you. All you have to do is install it.

Visual Appeal

I’ve seen some really good websites, and I’ve seen some really bad ones. Visual appeal is everything. If you’re like me, the really bad websites don’t even get 5 seconds of your time. You take one look at it and say, “Next!”. I know I do. So it’s really important that the first impression be a good one. Pre-built web sites have this already figured out.

Relevant Content

The second most important thing your website needs is relevant content. This is so important because if your content isn’t relevant, then the visitors to your site aren’t seeing what they’re looking for. This means they’ll leave your site very quickly. The more relevant your content is, the better chance your visitors will buy something from you.

Credibility

Credibility is the most important attribute of any website! If the visitor doesn’t think your information is accurate, truthful, or real, they will not buy from you. When you lose credibility, you lose sales. The two are directly related.

What Is the Best Choice for Your Small Business Website Design: A Web Design Firm Or Do It Yourself?

When you are thinking about improving your business website, should you leave it to a professional or take matters into your own hands? This article will shed some light.

First piece of advice: Design it right, right now. Get your business in the running, or better yet, ahead of the pack. If you are making sales offline, you could be making more sales online.

But, should you do it yourself? Here are some of the common obstacles a business owner creates for himself or herself:

“I made this site myself with Dreamweaver/SiteBuilder/Frontpage or with some “Free” online website builder “The last website I had done for just X dollars” “My website guy/gal says that can’t be done” or “I don’t do that” “The website guy/gal who created my website won’t return my calls” or “went out of business” or others

These comments pretty much speak for themselves as to why the business owner is frustrated with his online business experience. Little value was placed on the effort, and little value (or, no value at all) was returned. Actually, even worse, the business owner probably spent 20 to 50 hours of his/her time seeking the “cheap” solution, and that was time away from what the owner does best.

So, the advice here would be to hire a professional. But, interview and hire the right professional.

How to interview the professional? Interview the professional and understand how you will get solid value, solid service, and solid results. Some areas to discuss:

Show me your portfolio. Are you full-service? Discuss all your services. Do you know how to promote a website? Discuss/show me your internet marketing plans and campaigns. How many points of contact will I have for the project? Explain how responsive you will be. Go over the short-term goals of the project. Go over the long-term goals of the project. Show me/discuss with me your contract for my project. Discuss pricing, and options. Why should I choose you, how do you stand apart?

You really will want to find an online business consultant, not just a “website jockey” if you want to succeed on the internet. You should be comfortable with this person and should feel you will get solid value, solid service and solid results.

Article submission is considered as one of the most influential factors in Internet marketing. But when you write the articles or submit articles you need to follow some techniques.

When you write the title of the article, it should relate the content. The readers must have a notion of what they are going to read. Unless your titles convey the topic, the readers will be confused and move on to other sites. You can submit your articles in some of the popular online directories which are visited by thousands of people everyday. If you can submit article in any of these directories, you will have the maximum exposure. This is because such online directories will provide you with effective back links which will allow your site to rank higher.

The most important thing in an article is information. People will read your articles for information and so do not mislead or disappoint them. Think of contemporary issues which will create an impact on the readers. Give them relevant information which they would like to know. Focus on answering basic questions like Why, How or Where about a topic. Demonstrate your expertise in your subject and establish yourself as an authority in the virtual world.

When you write an article for the net, you will have to keep it short and simple. One should be precise, concise, and direct when they are talking about a topic. Unnecessary embellishment in writing should be avoided strictly. Use language that is crisp and free flowing. Keep the paragraphs to be short and simple.

Moreover when you submit articles you should think of the keywords. These key phrases which will be sprinkled in the article will help the readers to access the articles when they type the corresponding keyword. You should take help of RSS feeds which will syndicate them to all the interested people.

You will need to use auto responders for all your articles. If you have a master autoresponder, you can list all your articles and then automate this section. You should post all the articles on your site. This helps in building credibility and accountability of the articles. Once the article is written, you can use the affiliates to brand the articles. You can utilize the connection of the affiliates to promote your products well. You can use the links with discretion in articles. Apart from the relevant article, you can also use the links in other articles. You can self-promote and help to spread the word about your service and products.
